Azure Information Protection Premium P2 is Microsoft's new feature for Office 365, Exchange, Outlook, live.com and Hotmail. The feature essentially prevents people from signing in from unfamiliar locations/devices to help protect users' accounts.
Since Loop servers are hosted via Amazon Ireland, each Loop login is treated as one from Ireland, which is effectively an unfamiliar location for users of Office 365, Exchange, Outlook, live.com and Hotmail. This is preventing users with those accounts, plus users who've bought the Microsoft feature, from signing up for Loop.
Office 365 user? There is an easy solution - just ask an admin for your Office 365 account (usually your IT guru) to disable Azure Information Protection Premium P2. Here's how
Exchange, Outlook, live.com or Hotmail user? Unfortunately, there's no way to overcome this issue at the moment - but we're working on it. As soon as we've solved the problem, we'll let you know.
To find out if your email has been affected by Azure Information Protection Premium P2, just follow these steps:
3. Complete all the required fields. For 'Specify Exchange Web Services URL', enter 'https:outlook.office365.com/ews/exchange.asmx'.
4. Click 'Perform Test'
5. Wait for it...
6. If you receive the message 'Connectivity Test Failed' this means your email is affected by Azure Information Protection Premium P2.
7. If you don't receive this message, there's still hope :) Just email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do our best to get you signed up.
