The "Files" feature on Loop Email keeps all your attachments in one place. From here, you can view, share and download them to your computer or phone.
You have two main ways of viewing "Files"
- You can view all your "Files" right from the inbox - Most recent items are shown at the top
- You can view all "Files" from a particular contact or team
Desktop app - How to access Files
- Click on the 'Files' icon on the top right hand corner of the screen to bring up all your files
- To download a file, click the download icon on top of the file in the middle of the screen
Files from a particular contact or team
- You will first need to look up the contact or team
- You can do this by searching for their name
- Locate them under the 'Favourites' tab
- Hit"Find person/team" button or
- Hit the shortcut cmd + K / ctrl + K for a quick lookup
- Click on the 'Files' icon on the top right hand corner of the screen to bring up all your files
- To download a file, click the download icon on top of the file in the middle of the screen
iOS app - How to access Files
- Tap on the 'Menu' icon in the top-left corner
- Tap on 'Files' to bring up all your files
- You can long press a file to automatically attached it to a new email
- To download a file, open the one you require and then click the download icon in the top left corner
Files from a particular contact or team
- You will first need to look up the contact or team
- You can do this by searching for their name
- Locate them under the 'Favourites' in the side menu
- Click on the 'Files stream' from the contact menu to show all the files
- You can long press a file to automatically attached it to a new email
- Tap the 'Share' icon in the top-right corner of the app to share your file
Currently you cannot delete or add other documents to 'Files'. If this is something you’d like, then you can let us know at support@intheloop.io.
