Focused & Muted are designed to give back control of your inbox. The items in your Focused section are there because you want to be notified of them. This could be a contact, a team or a discussion. If you’re getting far too many notifications or junk in your inbox, then you can simply move them to Muted.
Desktop App - Muting and Unmuting
By click the 'Mute' icon under a team or a contact's name you will have turned off notifications from them. Their emails, chats and Loops will also move out of your inbox and into Muted.
You can unmute a team or a contact by simply following the same steps as mentioned above.
Another way to unmute a team or a contact is by going into the "Muted" section and looking for who you would like to un-mute and simply hovering over their name until the unmute options appears.
iOS App - Muting and Unmuting
You can Mute or Unmute a team or a contact by going into a their Channel and tapping on their name shown at the top. Once you have tapped their name you will be able to select if you would like to mute on un-mute them.
You can also Mute or Unmute a team or a contact from within the Loop Inbox in either the Focussed or Muted sections. To do this, you simply need to swipe from right to left on the name of the team or contact.
